We aim to respond within 2–3 business days. Please include your username and a description of the issue.
How to Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app:
- Open Noirchive on your device.
- Go to Settings (tap your profile, then the gear icon).
- Scroll to Delete Account and follow the prompts.
Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, fits, votes, follows, verdicts, and all associated data. Some anonymized aggregate records may persist. If you have trouble deleting your account in-app, email help.noirchive@gmail.com and we will delete it manually within 30 days.
How to Appeal a Ban or Suspension
If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error, you can appeal within 30 days of the action by emailing help.noirchive@gmail.com with:
- Your account username.
- A brief description of the action you're appealing.
- Any context you'd like us to consider.
We aim to respond to appeals within 14 days. Appeal decisions are final.
Other Common Issues
Can't log in
Try resetting your password from the login screen. If that doesn't work, email us with your username or the email address on the account.
Report a user or content
Use the "…" menu on any profile, fit, or verdict to submit a report directly in the app. For urgent safety issues, email help.noirchive@gmail.com.
